Our company, Marakapula Reserve, is a dynamic business, innovative, full of life whose objective is focused in developing the tourism in this incredible piece of Africa. It is part of our philosophy to run away from the overcrowding, and that is why we prefer exclusive camps, where the attention we give to a limited amount of guests is unique as well as personalized.
Marakapula's land was restituted to their legitimate owners, the Mashishimale Community, in 2.007. In 2.010 a Joint venture was created between the Community and a South African company in order to develop a reserve. For that purpose we built new camps, started working with Kruger National Park relocating some elephants to the reserve, as well as with other South African companies in order to reintroduce other animals such as Lions or Cheetahs to Marakapula from where they should have never left.
Accompanied by our expert guides, you will get to know the most emblematic animals of Africa, their characteristics and singularities. You will also have the opportunity to learn their behaviours and peculiarities, which you will find both surprising and attractive, full of life and that will take you back in time to when men and nature were one.
